NYC is great in general for a trip any time of the year. But, during Christmas the city is even more magical. You can start off your day with Breakfast With Santa. There's many different options from a Santa Breakfast Cruise to one overlooking the ice rink and tree at Rockefeller Center. You can really eat with Santa anywhere you desire.

After you finish up breakfast, you can head over to see the giant tree at Rockefeller Center and go ice skating. The rink opens at 8:30am everyday, and they even offer ice skating lessons.

After you've had a great time with your friends (or family) skating around in circles and occasionally falling on your butt for hours you can head over you can head over to Macy's and warm up a bit. While you warm up, you can explore Macy's huge SantaLand and even meet Good Ol' Saint Nick yourself.

After you pick up your picture with Santa, head over to Radio City Music Hall to watch the Radio City Christmas Spectacular which stars the world famous Rockettes. The show runs multiple time a day, which gives you many choices as to when you want to see it.

After the show, head over to see the giant red ornaments and the lights display on Saks 5th Avenue, located at 6th & 50th and 5th & 50th respectively.

After watching the light display, head over to Columbus Circle's Holiday Market. The market features different local venders selling crafts, art, home accessories, and food. You can probably find the perfect christmas gift for mom here.

After a fun day of running around the city, head to one of NYC's many awesome coffee shops for some hot chocolate and to warm up.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
