When I was young, I enjoyed playing with my American Girl dolls more than anything in the world. Since then, the company has released many amazing and progressive items, including dolls and their accessories, that I wish I owned as a child.
1. Logan Doll
This is the first male doll produced by American Girl. Logan is "Tenney’s bandmate and drummer! The 18" Logan doll has gray eyes that open and close, and short brown hair. Logan’s unique hand positioning helps him hold instruments" ("LoganTM Doll")!
2. Western Plaid Outfit
Okay, so I am in love with this outfit, and I honestly wish it came in my size. When I was a child, I always wanted this type of dress and matching boots; having my dolls wear these articles would have been the next best thing.
3. Adventure Campfire Set
When I was a child, I went camping a lot with my girl scout troop. Having this campfire set would have been fun, especially since I brought my one doll, Ally, with me when I went camping.
4. Healthy Smile Set
While I did not have braces as a child, I feel this product would help children feel more comfortable with them, especially if they are embarrassed.
5. Doodle Earring Set
I wish they offered ear piercings for dolls when I was younger; but no, instead I was stuck with the cheap, barely sticky sticker earrings.
6. Diabetes Care Kit
This kit for dolls is extremely important for young children with diabetes and those who know people with this disease. It can be used as an educational tool and it can comfort children who feel uneasy about the subject. By having their dolls use this kit, diabetic children can feel less alone.
7. Arm Crutches
Similar to the Diabetes Care Kit, this product can also allow children with special needs to feel more accepted and it can be used as an educational tool. This doll accessory can be especially useful for children with cerebral palsy.
