Everyone knows Avril Lavigne from the 2000s era. The pop-punk singer with hits such as "Girlfriend" and "Sk8r Boi" which was huge for young girls back in the day. Back in 2003, a theory came into play about how Avril Lavigne had died and been replaced by a doppelgänger named Melissa.

Every now and then it will resurface, especially on Twitter since people love to do long threads on there. If you haven't actually heard of this conspiracy theory it's actually super interesting and very believable. By the end, you might not really know what to believe anymore.

The theory started from a Brazilian fan blog where it first stated that after Lavigne's album "Let it Go" in 2002, Lavigne went from being this emo punk girl to a mainstream pop girl. From here is when the theory that she died started because many fans thought she started to downfall from her fame so much that she hired a look-alike to take her place in front of paparazzi.

Later, her grandfather passed away and instead of announcing her death her record label decided to continue making money and use Melissa as a replacement. Below are a few of the differences that many fans noticed which sparked the conspiracy theory even more. Lavigne released "The Best Damn Thing" album in 2007 and fans noticed differences in the handwriting, eye shape, punctuation, word use, and even freckles.

Then there's the idea that the eye shape is completely different, which honestly does look a little weird.

Fans get mixed signals from even terminology that Avril would supposedly never use.

Many fans noticed the difference in freckles and how Avril on the right has a lot less than "Melissa" on the left.

Lastly, song lyrics that seems to reveal that Melissa had taken over.

Avril Lavigne has spoken out about how none of this is true and she has no clue why it would even be thought up, but will anyone ever know? What do you think?

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
