Salads can be bland and they tend to not be filling. Here is a salad that is NOT bland as well as filling.
Avocado Salad:
Ingredients:
- One Avocado (Dark and squishy, otherwise it is not yet ripe)
- One Chicken Breast (grilled)
- One to Two Boiled Egg(s)
- Lettuce and/or Spinach
- A Quarter Cup of Chopped Onions
- A Cup of Mushrooms
- Salad Dressing (the choice is up to you, although I prefer A Thousand Islands dressing.)
Directions:
I'm sure this part won't be that difficult, simply put all the ingredients in a bowl, add the dressing, mix it up and enjoy!
This salad is also great for those who are on the Keto diet as it has protein, healthy fat and vegetables! It doesn't take long to make and the ingredients are non-expensive.
