Based On Your Zodiac Sign, Here's What 'Avengers: Endgame' Character You Need To Be Cheering For

The tickets have sold out. The theaters are packed. You're dying to know how the final chapter ends. Who lives? Who dies? With the release of the new Avengers film, "Endgame," everyone is freaking out to see their favorite characters, back again on screen. You probably have your favorites among the cast, whether it's Captain America, Spider-Man, or my personal favorite, Black Panther. But, do you and your favorite character have more in common than you thought you do? After reading this article, you may just have a new favorite character when you watch "Endgame."

1. Aries - The Hulk / Bruce Banner

Giphy

Now, this is pretty obvious. Aries can have fiery... some may even say angry... personalities. Therefore, the big green monster of anger seems like a pretty good fit. Obviously, a bad temper is one of the Aries' personality traits, but they are a little more complex than that. Aries are also very loyal and smart individuals, just like Bruce Banner. They are very focused on their work and are usually focusing on multiple projects at once. So, if this sounds like you, just don't turn green when you're angry too!

2. Taurus - Captain America

Giphy

Captain America is known for being the honest, humble, (kinda) stubborn, leader of the Avengers. All of these are personality traits of the Taurus. They are known for being the anchor in other people's lives. However, they can be known for being stubborn. This comes off with Captain America because he is originally from the early 1900s, so he can seem stuck in his ways. However, this isn't always stubbornness, but rather he only changes his mind when he sees a change in heart. Taurus' pride themselves on not being wishy-washy, something that Captain America definitely isn't.

3. Gemini - Loki

Giphy

Gemini's are known for being two faced or having split personalities. Loki, throughout the entire movie franchise, flips back and forth from good to evil. I mean, one moment, it's "I need to defeat my brother, Thor and become the king of Asgard," then it flips to, "Actually, I'm going to help the Avengers defeat the antagonist." Like Loki, Gemini's can flip from being very selfish to really focusing and putting time into their loved ones. Gemini's are usually very quick-witted, the life of the party, but also have a deep emotional side that needs care.

4. Cancer - Mantis

https://aminoapps.com/c/marvel-cinematic-universe/page/item/mantis/RrVg_WaXUvIwVvqroKBx5Rd0jzXqQD1vLGG

Cancers are known for their empathic qualities. They feel and sympathize with their loved ones, similar to Mantis. Mantis' power is being an empath, therefore, she can feel everything that other people feel. From small things to crazy, complicated feelings, she feels those feelings as if they were her own. Cancers have even been said to be almost psychic for their strong intuitions. They are very good at reading people and seeing their true qualities before others do.

5. Leo - Iron Man

Giphy

The bold, the courageous, the natural born leader. Tony Stark is known for his sarcastic remarks, big personality, and his desire to save the world. Leo's are known to have high self-esteem and want to make a name for themselves. Tony Stark, even before the Iron Man suit was created, was a huge icon in the Marvel universe. With his large sum of money and various technology projects, he was already famous. But, as soon as Iron Man was born, his one desire was to be an Avenger and save the planet. Leo's are also known for being seen as arrogant, but in reality, if they choose to spend time with someone, they genuinely want to be there. Just like Tony with Pepper Potts.

6. Virgo - Black Widow

Giphy

Just like Black Widow, Virgo's are hardworking individuals who are smart, sophisticated, and always get the job done. They can be kind of closed off when you first meet them, but once you gain their trust, they will be a solid friend for life. This is mirrored with Black Widow's and Hawkeye's friendship. Virgo's really try to be perfect in every aspect of their lives and when they seem to "fail" at that, they try their hardest to work back up to perfection. Just like how Black Widow isn't going to let Thanos win without a good fight!

7. Libra - Thor

Giphy

Libras are known to love beautiful things and want to surround themselves with beauty as well. Now, we can all agree that Thor is a beautiful Asgardian, so that is pretty self-explanatory. However, Libras are also known to have their heads in the clouds and are pretty big dreamers. Because of this, they are great at making big plans, but not always so good at executing them. Thor is known for this! He knows what needs to be accomplished, has an idea of how to get there, but the execution is usually really rocky. However, with the help of others, it can be easily accomplished.

8. Scorpio - Gamora

Giphy

Gamora is a strong, independent woman who definitely doesn't need a man.... (But, chooses to want Star-Lord). She is known for putting up her walls and not talking about her past. Yet, when she does decide to show her sensitive, more vulnerable side, she is full of emotion. Scorpios come off very hard or intimidating at first, but once you really get to know them, they can be really caught up in their feelings. They can be your best friend or your worst enemy, just like Gamora.

9. Sagittarius - Star Lord

Giphy

Independence is HUGE for Sagittarius', they are all about going off the beaten path. Just like Star-Lord, you are probably a natural born leader, but usually do whatever you want, no matter what anyone else thinks. Your promises can sometimes be a little too big for your britches, which can lead you to fall short in your relationships. Aside from that, you love to travel and exploration. So, leaving small-town Missouri and traveling the universe, like Star-Lord, is probably your best bet.

10. Capricorn - Black Panther

Giphy

Capricorns are known to be smart, hardworking, and in control of their destiny. This is shown in T'Challa's life, especially when he has to fight to remain king of Wakanda. He uses his resources, skills, and powers to claim his throne and his destiny. Capricorns are also huge fans of traditions, just like the entire country of Wakanda. Even though they are constantly evolving, they also stick to rituals that have been around for thousands of years. Capricorns are the natural born leaders so... WAKANDA FOREVER!

11. Aquarius - Doctor Strange

Giphy

Doctor Strange is known for his quiet intellect and for being a great problem-solver. Unlike most of the Avengers, he is really good at being able to see both sides of the argument and make a logical decision based on the best interest of others. Aquarius' need alone time and really thrive with self-meditation and removing themselves from others, similar to Doctor Strange's mediation in his solo movie. However, they are not usually in touch with their emotions but are very in touch with their imaginations.

12. Pisces - Scarlet Witch

Giphy

Gentle and affectionate. The two characteristics of a Pisces, but you may be thinking that this doesn't necessarily describe Wanda Maximoff. However, despite her destructive superpower, Wanda is one of the most gentle people on the team. Especially when it comes to the ones she loves, like Vision and her brother, Quicksilver. She is always so understanding, especially when Vision wanted to take the Infinity Stone from his own head, knowing he may die in the process. She is a romantic with a strong, vibrant personality that is reflected within her powers. That is the essence of a true Pisces.

You may have originally loved Thor for his rock hard muscles, Captain America for his gentlemanly manner, or Iron Man for his sarcastic behavior, but now, you may be rooting for someone completely different in the upcoming movie! I mean, how can you not, when you're basically the same person as an Avenger. But it's okay if you want to keep cheering for Tom Holland (I won't blame you.. I probably will too).

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate
Mental Floss

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
