Earlier this semester my rrommates and I had binged watched the TV series "Avatar: The Last Airbender" which is about an Air nomad Avatar named Aang going on his adventure to end the 100-year war and Fire Lord Ozais reign of terror.

Recently I had binged the follow up series Avatar" The Legend Of Korra Which is based off of Korra of the Southern Water Tribe and her training to become the Avatar that she has the potential to become.

One Question that a lot of people have is who is the more powerful Avatar based off of what is seen in the show without gaining access to the Avatar State and both Avatars being in their prime.

Avatar Aang had access to utilize alll four base elements: Air, Earth, Water, and Fire. Along with that he was one of the few Avatars that is able to use the skill known as energybending and is the only known Avatar to use it regularly. Aang used this ability to strip Fire Lord Ozai of his Firebending and by doing so he had finally ended the One Hundred Year War.

Aang was only 12 when he was going on about his adventure and had already mastered Airbending at this time he had to learn the other three elements due to the impending end of the world within only a few months. He accomplished this among many other things during his time as the Avatar.

The next Avatar that we are going to be analyzing is Avatar Korra of the Southern Water Tribe. Avatar Korra knew how to use the elements of fire, water, and earth at the ripe young age of only four years old. She had finally mastered these elements at the age of 17 a few years later than when Aang did though to be fair she was unaware of the danger to the world seeing as she was secluded from everything down at the South Pole. After Korra had mastered Fire, Earth, and Waterbending she ran away to Republic City so that she could go and recieve Airbending training from Tenzin who so happens to be Avatar Aangs son.

Korra is the first avatar to use metalbending seeing as at the time of Aang it was an unheard of ability. She also opened the portals to the spirit world so that humans and spirits could live together in harmony, after defeating the spirit of chaos and darkness. She also defeated the red lotus which is an organization that aimed for peace but took it to far and ended up puting the world into chaos and the Earth Kingdom had to rebuild itself. The final thing that Korra accomplished during the run of the show was that she ended the Earth Empire and finally united the four nations as well as rebuilding the Air nation.

After analyzing everything that the two Avatar based on her abilities alone.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
