It is that time of year again. The air is getting cooler, the winter coats come out, and the festivities being. Here are eight reasons why autumn is the best season.

1. Warm Beds


Getting into bed is already wonderful. But there is something else about getting under those warm covers after being out in the cold.

2. The weather

After a scorching hot summer, it is nice to walk outside for more than two seconds and not be drenched in sweat. Also, the trees burst into a warm red, vibrant orange, and a golden yellow colors. It just doesn't get better than that.

3. Halloween and Thanksgiving

Halloween is a great time to eat pounds of candy while dressed up in a costume. Thanksgiving involves eating lots of nice homemade foods and a big turkey.

4. Bonfires and s'mores


Instead of being stuck inside all night doing nothing, autumn is the perfect time to bring out the firewood and invite friends and family over to enjoy some good quality time together. Smores are always a great, fun, and yummy activity to enjoy, while sitting or standing around the bonfire with your company.

5. Breaking out the fall clothing


The new fall line is in, meaning more clothes to go out and buy because your excuse is that you don't have enough clothes to stay warm in.

6. Pumpkin everything

Pumpkin patches, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin pie, pumpkin candles, pumpkin carvings, pumpkin beer, pumpkin muffins, pumpkin everything

7. Fairs


From deep fried sugary foods to dizzy rides to big stuffed animals.

8. Football


"GREEN 80, GREEN 80, HUT-HUT" A majority of people call the best time of the year football season. Tailgates, football games, and a great time for a great season. Every weekend in the fall there is a football game, either college or professional.
