There is nothing quite like being an aunt.

There’s a little child that looks up to you.

When they see you, the smile they get is the most precious thing one will ever see.

They rely on you.

They need you to be there when Mom and Dad need a break.

They expect you to spoil them less than the grandparents but more than the parents.

You let them play with your phone, and use your special blankets that no one else is ever allowed to use.

You can give them a whole bunch of things that their parents normally would not, like sweets, and coffee.

Then you can send them back home.

When their too much to handle you have the choice to just send them back to Mom or Dad.

But, you are always reluctant to do that because you love them, and you know they need you as much as you need them.
