I'm one who believes firmly in creative therapy. While the vulnerable mind is ordinarily closed off to harsh discipline and negative reinforcement, a creative mindset practically breeds wellness. What allows the general population to properly comprehend the concepts of creativity is open-mindedness. For some unknown reason, a large percentage of people tend to be stuck in their ways, and reject that creativity could, indeed, be a lifestyle.
Another misconception about the imaginative lifestyle is that your credentials must say "artist," or "musician." Others who believe they have more mundane careers forget that an official title does not determine whether or not you are creative. I bring this point to light because I have personally heard it so many times. "Oh, I'm not creative. I have no imagination." False. Of course, you have an imagination, and of COURSE, you have the capacity to be one of the most creative forces in the world. That's what I believe is so magical about ingenuity - or anything abstract - that there is no ceiling cap to what may be invoked.
I had to share my thoughts on this matter because a multitude of individuals feeling stuck firmly in a prosaic lifestyle have potentials that require some sort of key to unlock. In my experience, I was contact with an entire faction of creative individuals, and they were keen to convince me of my projected capabilities. I must say, if you are witnessing someone continually bash themselves for not having an imaginative thought or idea, tell them that creativity lives everywhere. It does not attach itself to a certain sect of civilization, nor does it practice discrimination. Creative minds must continue to cultivate creativity and other creative individuals. If you have any aching ideas clawing at the back of your mind, I urge you to throw away societal titles and attempt to live through a curious lens.
