Sure, it isn't ideal for it to be in the 70's in November, but that doesn't mean we can't still do all the fun festive activities! All throughout the months of November and December - and sometimes even into January - Atlanta has things going on almost every weekend.

1. Christmas Tree Lighting at Atlantic Station

Every year Atlantic Station lights up their huge Christmas tree. This year it will take place on November 19, and you won't want to miss it. There are a variety of activities going on all day long from 1:00 p.m - 9:00 p.m that will make you feel like you're in the middle of a winter wonderland.

2. Cirque Dreams "Holidaze" Show

This is one cirque show you don't want to miss: it's a Broadway musical, holiday spectacular and family show combined! There will be two showings, one on November 23 at 7:30 p.m. and another on November 25, also at 7:30 p.m. It will let you experience the holiday season in the best way possible with toy soldiers marching across extremely thin pieces of ice, people flipping all through the air and last, but not least, dancing penguins.

3. Ugly Sweater Run/Walk

Ugly holiday sweaters and exercise, what could be better?! This is the perfect opportunity to get use that $5 snowman sweater you bought from Goodwill years ago. There will be photo booths, games, music, fake snow, giant snow globes and many other holiday activities. So grab your sweaters and be in Piedmont Park on December 3 at 12:00 p.m.

4. Lights at the Botanical Gardens

Now through January 7, you can walk through the Atlanta Botanical Gardens and see a plethora of cheery holiday lights. Tickets are a little pricey though so maybe try to get that special someone to take you! *wink wink*

5. Six Flags Holiday in the Park

If you love roller coasters and love the holidays, this is the perfect combination for you! During Holiday in the Park, Six Flags turns into a complete winter wonderland with lights hanging up everywhere and your favorite holiday characters roaming the park.

6. Skating in Centennial Olympic Park

Why would you spend money to go to a boring indoor ice rink when you could be skating in an 115-by-64-foot ice rink outdoors in the heart of Atlanta? Even if you don't like skating, it's still fun to go and enjoy the atmosphere! They have their own concession stand consisting of funnel cakes, fried PB&J, corn dogs, hot chocolate, apple cider and all of your other favorite holiday treats.

7. Reindog Parade

Now it's time to get your dog in on the fun! You get to dress up your pup in full-on holiday gear to compete for a prize. If competition isn't your thing, just do it for the fun of it! Your sweet dog wants to be included in all the festivities!

8. Candlelight Nights

At Candlelight Nights at the Atlanta History Center, you can learn about old Christmas traditions and how people used to celebrate the holidays. There's a market filled with crafts, artisanal creations and even actors acting out the past using music and other fun activities.

9. Jingle Ball Concert

Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor, The Chainsmokers, Fifth Harmony, DNCE, Alessia Cara, Daya and Lukas Graham are all going to be performing at this year's jingle ball concert at Phillips Arena. Tickets are selling out so don't wait until last minute!

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
