Have you been looking to spice up your palate? Tired of the same old chain restaurants you hit up after a long day at work or class? Well, for those of you who reside in the heart of Atlanta or surrounding suburbs, you're in for a treat. I have compiled a list of top Atlanta restaurants for all my fellow foodies out there.

1. Antico Pizza

Antico's has the freshest pizza you'll ever devour in one sitting.

2. Flip Burger Boutique

If you have ever had the Nutella milkshake at Flip Burger it will change your entire life. Burnt marshmallows and Nutella make everything better.

3. Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams

The local ingredients and grass-grazed ice cream that Jeni's produces is mouthwatering.

4. JCT Kitchen & Bar

JCT has some of the best deviled-eggs and fried chicken to offer.

5. Bartaco

Three words: pork belly tacos.

6. TWO Urban Licks

Famous for their downtown Atlanta views and wine on tap, this sure is the place to sip on bubbly while taking in all of Atlanta.

7. Chops Lobster Bar

Chop's Lobster Bar may be famous for their seafood and lively atmosphere, but you've got to try one of their Pink Squirrels made from creme de noyaux, white cream de cacao and heavy cream. It's essentially dessert in your mouth.

Personally, I think Chops has some of the best steak. It just melts in your mouth.

9. Bones

As of 2015 it was voted Zagat's best restaurant in Atlanta. Bones has a great atmosphere, great food and an extensive wine list.

10. Vortex Bar & Grill

Vortex has been awarded "Best Burger" from both local and national publications.

NACHOS. Tavern nachos will make you a very happy camper.

12. Park Tavern

Situated right on the edge of Piedmont Park it gives you a taste of park views.

13. Dolce Italian

This is ultimate fine Italian dining.

14. Cypress Street Pint & Plate

Local vendors and organizations help raise donations to charities at Cypress Street.

15. The Optimist

Great seafood and they have putt-putt out front. How fun is that?

Gypsy Kitchen offers sangria on tap. Some of the best I've had.

Food tours in Ponce City Market are always a treat!

For all you beer lovers there are 45 different beers on tap.

Yeah! Burger has your choice of beef, bison, chicken, veggie or turkey burgers to choose from. Everyone's appetite can be satisfied.

A rotating dining room that overlooks all of Atlanta is a true ding experience.

When I was learning how to talk, I was taught both Portuguese and English at the same time. In elementary school, I started taking mandatory Spanish classes, which I did well in because of my knowledge of Portuguese. Then in high school, on top of taking Spanish, I also started taking French. Now, in college, already fluent in English and Portuguese, I'm in the process of becoming fluent in Spanish, and I have a standard high school level understanding of French.
