Meet The Reporter: Why I Chose Cronkite

Welcome to the second segment of "Meet The Reporter."

Our team of writers at ASU Odyssey will be writing monthly "Meet The Reporters" as an effort to make things fun for our readers and let you get to know us!

For me, choosing to go into journalism was one of the easiest decisions I've ever had to make - it's like there isn't another option! I've always loved writing and storytelling, and once I was able to practice giving interviews on camera I was set on studying broadcast journalism.

Deciding on Cronkite was also a very easy decision for me. The resources and opportunities that are available for students here are incredible. The facilities at this school are top-notch and we get hands-on learning experiences that help prepare us for the working world.

Additionally, I've also always loved the Phoenix area. Given that the Cronkite School is in the heart of Downtown Phoenix, I was ecstatic on being able to live in this fun city.

For some, choosing a college and major is extremely difficult, and I'm happy that the Cronkite School made my decision that much easier for me.
