The Sun Devil's improve to 9-3 this week, moving them into the national ranking at the 18th place, ahead of Minnesota and Miami (OH), and solidly behind Cornell.

After their win last weekend, the Devil's penalty kill ranking is 92.7%, which is currently the best in the country. Throughout the season thus far, despite it still being early, the Devil's have put up an impressive record. They've swept Alaska-Fairbanks, Alabama-Huntsville, Nebraska-Omaha, and now Michigan State. Their only recorded losses have been to Ohio State, previously ranked #1 in the country at the time they played, and a nail-biting win by Penn State. Although, the stand out performance was the second time the Devil's played Penn State, in which they won in overtime by a breakaway goal from number one goal scorer in the country, Johnny Walker. At the time, Penn State was number 6th nationally and previously undefeated until that game.

Another big contributor is Ottawa Senators prospect, Joey Daccord. The goaltender for the Sun Devils, Daccord has accumulated an average allowance of 2.09 goals per game. Daccord also adds more to the team than just defending the net as he's accustom to leaving his crease to get the puck to his teammates and make some strategic plays that have worked to the Devil's advantage. Also, a special shoutout to freshman, Jordan Sandhu for his first college hockey goal against Michigan State to seal the victory back on November 9th.

The Sun Devil's now start a long stretch of road games as they travel from Harvard to #15 Princeton to Omaha, not returning until December 14th to take on Colorado College.

It appears to be the underdog's time to shine as the young organization struggled for the past years. It's clear to see the team's passion to outwork and outplay their opponent every game, win or lose.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
