ASU, I'm Coming Home

T-minus 20 days until we're finally back home.

ASU, I'm Coming Home

Congratulations! You survived 100 days of "So how do you like college?" (When obviously you love college, what kind of question is that?) "Did you miss being home?" (Oh do you mean did I miss having to live by my parents' rules for three months?) And my ultimate favorite "Did you make a lot of friends?" (No, I lived under a rock for the past 10 months and only cared about my studies because who needs friends in college?)

You got passed the loner stage of not having any friends over the summer because the few friends you still have back home all have their own lives and can't just sit around watching Netflix with you. You can finally stop feeling bad about bringing up your college life 24/7 with the few friends you do have back home because you know they're annoyed hearing about your life that they're not apart of. Last but not least, you can finally go out whenever you want, stay out till 3 in the morning without getting lectured and party hard without feeling bad about yourself (unless you have a 8 a.m. lecture).

We're officially less than a month away from heading back to "Spring Break University," where we are able to get work done while living the life too. So, hang in there sun devils, and take a minute to get pumped for another amazing year at Arizona State University.

Get ready for football season because it is the best time of year. Especially since we'll be beating U of A this year while looking good in our new football uniforms thanks to Adidas.

Finally bashing on U of A and talking about how much we hate them will be socially acceptable and cheered on by our fellow sun devils.

Endless pool parties are finally a thing again because, well, it's summer time every day.

You can finally enjoy our beautiful campus again which includes Palm Walk. Unless you're a skater or biker because then you have to deal with walk-only zones — ain't nobody got time for that.

Finally, dating is now an option or one-night stands ... whatever works for you. Hey it's college, live a little.

The first two weeks of classes have come to an end and they have been anything BUT easy. It seems like life has been serving up more bad than good and in all honesty, the only thing you want to do is crawl under your covers and hide from the rest of the world.

Although this seems like the best solution, it is also the easy way out. Take it from the girl who took basically a whole week off from her life because she just could not handle everything that was being thrown at her. This caused her to feel extremely lonely and even more stressed out for being behind in classes that JUST began.

11 Things We Learned From Brooke Davis

"What's more important? What we become or how we become it?"

Brooke Davis

"She was fiercely independent, Brooke Davis. Brilliant, and beautiful, and brave. In two years she had grown more than anyone I had ever known. Brooke Davis is going to change the world someday, and I'm not sure she even knows it." - Lucas Scott, An Unkindness of Ravens

Brooke Davis of the hit show One Tree Hill was the it girl - she had it all, or so we thought. She started out as a stuck-up, shallow, spoiled, head cheerleader who didn't have her life together. She slept around a lot and loved to party - sounds like your typical high school teenager right? Wrong. B. Davis had so much more to offer. Caring, loyal, and outspoken, she has taught us some valuable lessons throughout the 9 seasons that OTH was on the air:

For some of us, coming to college was the first time we ever had to share a room. It was a big change, but a fun one. As you meet more and more people over the course of your college career, it seems to be a pattern that you will at some point have that one friend that doesn't live with you, but acts like they do. We call those people, "Honorary Roommates" and here are 11 signs you have one in your life.

We all have a person, and when that person makes some new friends, we tend to forget all the great things that can come out of it. Never forget how special they are to you and why you are best friends.
