Fall you are beautiful, and the perfect season to follow the beloved season of Summer.

As the night approaches sooner and the cool currents pop in for weekly visits, we know that Autumn and school are approaching. Summer blues appear but the excitement for pumpkin picking, hot tea, thanksgiving and everything in between starts to build up.

In my opinion, nothing compares to Summer vacation and the weather that comes along with it. Your skin gets clearer, your smile gets bigger, your nights are better and your skin gets darker. Though, when Summer doors close and Autumn doors I accept it because everything about the Fall is enjoyable as well. Ready to get back into a routine, school starts just when I begin to get bored. Don't get me wrong I rather be in summer mode all year long, but school could be so much worse.

The first day back on campus reminds me that school isn't too bad. Seeing your friends across the quad and haven't seen them since May is another reminder that school will be great this semester! Remembering you have English 101 with a teammate of yours is so satisfying and relieving.

The best part about the month of September is that I take advantage of the last visits to the beach. Tasting the last bit of Summer is nice and getting your first taste of Fall is also beautiful. Walking into AC Moore and seeing Fall wreathes and Fall scented candles is depressing as well as stunning.

Fall has a specific smell. It smells like comfort and family and a ton of love. The weather is a nice in between of Summer and Winter and the endless adventures we can go on between Labor Day and Christmas are incredible. Heading out east to go apple picking, or pumpkin picking. Visiting the beautiful fields of Sunflowers. A trip to the city for lunch and a play. The months of Fall are so incredible.

So the next time you complain the Summer is over, school is back again; just remember that it is Autumn you're complaining about and Autumn is a wonderful and eventful season to follow Summer.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
