I've reached the age of fandom where I am older than my idols.

I remember a time when every artist I listened to was older than me and had their life together. Now, I am 20 years old and I am listening to artists who are my age and younger AND have their lives together. Here are the best artists, all 20 and younger that you need to add to your Spotify.

1. Billie Eilish-17

She's just so badass. I want to BE Billie Eilish. I have spent the entirety of April listening to her newest album. Also who just plays with spiders like that, you know? She's dope.

2. Shawn Mendes- 20

He sings. He plays guitar. He is dreamy. And oh- what's that? We are the same age? Good to know. But in reference to his music, "Lost In Japan" gets me bouncing my head every time, and "Don't Be A Fool" puts me deep in the feels.

3. Khalid-20

Free Spirit is an instant classic. His voice is so smooth. I love everything he has made.

4. Lil Pump- 18

Mr. Harvard Dropout is only 18. I kind of love to hate him. He can't help that his music is so catchy and he was such an instant success.

5. Willow Smith-18

I've been bopping to Willow since I was in middle school whipping my hair back and forth. Her music has gotten much more sophisticated- "Wait a Minute!" is a bop.

6. Noah Cyrus- 19

Taking after her sister by pursuing a career in the music, but forgoing all the Disney business- probably a good move. I am looking forward to seeing what else she puts out. "Again" is a particularly good song.

7. Jayden Smith- 20

SYRE. ERYS. Just played a set at Coachella. I'd say he's doing well. An icon for sure.

8. Juice WRLD- 20

I scream "Lucid Dreams" at the top of my lungs every time I hear it. "Make Believe" off of his latest album is a great joint.

9. Madison Beer-20

I remember the first time I heard "Dead" on my Spotify, I was like, "Oh she's great, she must be like 24." Wrong. Me? Dead.

10. Daya- 20

She has come a long way from "Sit Still, Look Pretty". She has a very soothing voice and I am looking forward to new stuff from her

In honor of Mother’s Day, I have been thinking of all the things my mom does for my family and me. Although I couldn’t write nearly all of them, here are a few things that moms do for us.

They find that shirt that’s right in front of you, but just you can’t seem to find.

10 Reasons To Thank Your Best Friend

Take the time to thank that one friend in your life you will never let go of.

Thank You on wooden blocks

1. Thank you for being the one I can always count on to be honest.

A true friend will tell you if the shirt is ugly, or at least ask to borrow it and "accidentally" burn it.

2. Thank you for accepting me for who I am.

A best friend will love you regardless of the stale french fries you left on the floor of your car, or when you had lice in 8th grade and no one wanted to talk to you.

Everybody gets sick once in a while, but getting sick while in college is the absolute worst. You're away from home and your mom who can take care of you and all you really want to do is just be in your own bed. Do as I say, not as I do.

Your eyes widen in horror as you stare at your phone. Beads of sweat begin to saturate your palm as your fingers tremble in fear. The illuminated screen reads, "Missed Call: Mom."

Growing up with strict parents, you learn that a few things go unsaid. Manners are everything. Never talk back. Do as you're told without question. Most importantly, you develop a system and catch on to these quirks that strict parents have so that you can play their game and do what you want.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!
