Ever been writing an article on Odyssey, or anything for that matter, and you just don't have an idea to write about? Writer's block can be super annoying, so here's some ideas on what to write about when the words just can't come out.

1. An open letter to a family member or a friend.

2. A list of things to do when you have nothing to do.

3. Rate your favorite television series or movies.

4. Compare college majors to a television series, movie character etc.

5. Write about your favorite animal, person, or even your favorite song.


6. Write about your own major, why you want to go into that field, and why you're so passionate about that field.

7. Write about the best things about your favorite holiday or season.

8. Write about a current or past event that impacted you, and explain why this event impacted you so much.

9. Write about your favorite band or celebrity.

10. Write about your pet (pets deserve credit too).

11. Write about your ideal relationship (which may be unrealistic!).

12. Write an article on success and how success is important in life.

13. Write about a funny orvembarrassing moment in your life.

14. Write about something inspirational or life-changing that has impacted you.

15. Write a personal poem or anything personal you've written.

16. Analyze a book you have read.

17. Write about your childhood.

18. Write a love letter to your favorite food (THINGS LIKE THIS ARE IMPORTANT).

19. Write about your future and who you wish it to be.

20. Write a listicle.
