Being an art student is an experience for sure. Like any major, there are many struggles we face. Here are 15 of the hundreds of daily challenges we deal with.
1. Paint is on my hands 75% of the time
2. I usually have charcoal on my nose
3. I'm always spending money on art supplies
4. I'm always complaining about how I spend all my money on art supplies
5 You can find me staying up until 4 am working on my latest masterpiece
6. I will hate or strongly dislike half of my pieces
7. I take pictures of everything
8. My room will be stuffed with supplies
9. I will probably be carrying 1-4 bags everywhere I go
10. I might run away claiming I have a ‘genius artistic vision’
11. I will be tired. All the time.
12. No, I will not create a piece for you in my spare time
13. I have no spare time
14. I’m told my degree is useless
15. I will constantly run out of ideas or have too many of them (usually there is no in-between)
