Art, Imagination, And Creativity

The Influences Of Art On Us All.

Imagination tends to flow like time. Usually built from ideas that come from speculation, teachings, and perception. Imagination is an aspect that is an extension of creativity, which in turn is an extension of art. All these pieces go together like machine work, creating all forms of artwork, literature, and music.

In our day and age, our ideas and aspirations tend to come from the inspiration of other people’s works and their influences on the world around us. There are many forms of artwork, and those forms of artworks tend to all fall into some form of category. The styles of artwork that can be done can tend to no longer be unique since so many others before us have created such works of art or people have had the same ideas before. However, what is unique in an individual’s piece of art is their imagination.

Their imagination, like I said before, comes from their own speculation, teachings, and perception. For example, a lot of books tend to end on a cliffhanger or leave the reader to ask a lot of questions of “Why?” or “How?”; imagination allows for the reader to come up with their own ending or how something should have gone within a story.

Creativity is ignited from our imagination, which comes from aspects such as interpretation and deep thoughts. Art allows an individual to express their feelings, stories, and emotions all onto a paper, creating a story that is about them, conveying themselves transparently to others in a different way.

All famous pieces of artwork, literature, and music tend to be famous due to many aspects such as skill, depth, and creativity. However, the most important aspect of all famous pieces of artwork is that the artwork relates to a large majority of people. A lot of people may have experienced the same feelings as an artist, and will sympathize with their artwork, relating it back to their own life.

Art in general is a form of abstract communication amongst other people. Art from the past can be a story to those of present day. Eventually, art from the present day will become the past and be a story to those of the future. The cycle continues, allowing us to remember how people used to be in the past, and how their thought processes tended to flow.

Art ignites creativity due to its way of relation to the artist. The artist imagines scenarios and throws their imagination onto a piece of paper. Things such as talking animals, fantasy worlds, and superheroes are all things that people can appreciate, and have become a large part of our current day society.

Without artwork, life would simply be two shades consisting of black and white. Our sense of enjoyment would tend to be bland, and our lives would be systematic. Essentially, our lives would consist of waking up, eating, making a living, and sleeping. With art, life becomes more than just those things.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
