On a Tropical Island

What better way to feel like you are on a tropical island then a smoothie? There are numerous smoothie places to choose from on campus, but one of the best is Jamba Juice. There are so many choices to choose from and you can pick which everyone you would like. You can pick from mango smoothies to strawberry or pineapple smoothies. There is every sort of fruit you would like to eat from all over the orld and from every tropical island. The energy bowls at Jamba Juice will make you feel like you are eating breakfast in front of an expansive ocean. Pairing the energy bowl with a fresh squeezed juice will make you feel like the ocean is right next to you.

Roaming around Japan

From the first steps into the restaurant, you will feel like you have transported across the land and ocean to Japan. The restaurant is called Sakanaya in Champaign. The miso soup will warm your soul on a cold winter day when you really need to get away from studying and take a break. The classic rolls are great if you want something light and don’t want anything adventurous. When you want adventure and want the real experience of being transported to another country, try some of the signature rolls. There is even food for the non-sushi lovers. They have noodles as well as other entrees that will blow your mind with how delicious they are.

Say "Ciao" to Champaign and "Hello" to Italy

Minneci’s in Champaign has some of the best pasta I have ever had. You can either be transported to Italy at the restaurant or have Italy delivered right to your dorm or apartment. I have only had Italy delivered to my dorm, but it is like bringing Italy to your room. The smells fill your room with the scents of Italy. You can have all your favorite Italian foods brought right to you in this little town called Champaign.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
