I have lived in Minnesota my whole life. Yes I have traveled to many different states, but Minnesota is my home. Over my years living in Minnesota, I have discovered some of the best places to eat. Some of them are chains, and some are a Minnesota only thing. Enjoy! And by enjoy I mean enjoy the food at these restaurants!

Redstone American Grill

Located in Eden Praire, this grill offers many different food options. It is more on the expensive side of dining. It has a great atmosphere and the food is very delicious!

The Nook

Located in St. Paul, a simple, yet delicious way to enjoy your favorite hamburger! Casual dining and fun place to enjoy some time with friends or family!

Mocha Monkey

Located in Waconia, my hometown, is a coffee shop, with many drink options and food options. Very casual, yet a great place to get together with others and socialize!

Buca di Beppo

Located in many towns in Minnesota, they serve Italian family style meals in an upbeat atmosphere. Come hungry!

The Melting Pot

Found in Minneapolis, The Melting Pot is a fondue lovers favorite place! Serving entrees with a fondue dip perfect for sharing with your family or friends!

Grandma's Restaurant Bar and Grill

Found in Duluth, a great place for a homemade like cooked meal. A fun place to spend an afternoon with the family at!

Maynard's Restaurant

Located in Excelsior, right on Lake Minnetonka, serving meals in a fun American style setting. You can enjoy your meal inside or out on the spacious patio.

Lola's Lakehouse

Found in Waconia, right on Lake Waconia, the freshest seafood, and many different options. You can enjoy your meal inside, or outside on the patio viewing Lake Waconia.

Here are just a few restaurants that are my favorite here in Minnesota! Go try out some of them and make sure to go hungry!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
