Ways To Tell If You Are A Cat Lady

Move over dog lovers, because this girl loves cats! Cats make my heart flutter every time I see their cute faces. If you are wondering if you have a problem or an obsession with kittens, here are some indicators that could lead you to believe you are a major cat lady.

1. You Cat Love Cat Pictures.

Every time you see a picture of a cat, you stop and squeal about how cute the little fur-ball is. You tell yourself the kitten is the cutest cat you have ever seen, even though this is the 100th picture you have looked at in one day. Also, all of these photos are currently saved on your phone, retweeted, or shared on social media.

2. You Own Tons Of Cat Merchandise.

Everything you buy is related to cats. This can be merchandise like shirts and purses. Your home is decorated with signs and

figurines. Not to mention you have stuffed animals of these creatures, but need I go on, you have it all. Anything that is a cat related - no matter what it is - makes your wallet open up willingly. With your cute new purchases, you feel content with the obsession.

3. Consider The Number of Cats You Own

You have more than one cat -- somewhere between 1 to 100. This is all normal to you. Shelters and pet stores make you feel sorry for the sweet little balls of fun, so why not get a new cat every time you go into a shelter? You got a promotion at work? Get a cat. You won the lottery? Get a few cats. You are lonely? Get a cat. If it makes you happy, why not feel the joys of adopting a cat?

4. You Can't Stop Watching Cat Videos.

Your social media is filled with cat videos. It makes you so happy to see your newsfeed filled with funny videos of cats doing crazy things, so you decide to share the videos to make other people happy -- or make them think you are slightly

crazy. I always get complements on my cat videos for making people happy, how about you?

5. You Are Dying To Visit A Cat Cafe.

Your dream is to one day find a cafe that houses the sweetest cats in a city near you. When you find out about one, you book your next trip to the most amazing place on earth. These cafes are themed with cat related decor and you pay a small fee to hang out and watch adoptable cats play.

6. You Download Cat Apps.

These days, there are many kinds of apps out for IOS and Androids. Apps about cats are no exception -- you can own a few cats at a time in your virtual backyard in Neko Atsume. These apps will allow you to own more cats than ever.

If you can answer yes to all of these six points, welcome to the club. You are now officially a crazy cat lady. You will grow old with your 10 cats, sitting around watching cat videos from the comfort of your couch. It makes me happy to know there is one more cat person in this big world filled with dog people.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.

Thanksgiving break is over and Christmas is just around the corner and that means, for most college students, one hellish thing — finals week. It's the one time of year in which the library becomes over populated and mental breakdowns are most frequent. There is no way to avoid it or a cure for the pain that it brings. All we can do is hunker down with our books, order some Dominos, and pray that it will all be over soon. Luckily, we are not alone in this suffering. To prove it, here are just a few of the many deranged thoughts that go through a college student's mind during finals week.

I know every college student has daily thoughts throughout their day. Whether you're walking on campus or attending class, we always have thoughts running a mile a minute through our heads. We may be wondering why we even showed up to class because we'd rather be sleeping, or when the professor announces that we have a test and you have an immediate panic attack.
