Are Lithium Iron Phosphate Batteries Really Safe?

Introduction to Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery

Now, people who buy new energy vehicles objectively have to choose between lithium iron phosphate battery and ternary lithium battery technology. If the endurance and light weight of the vehicle are what you want, choose the ternary system. And if you worry about safety, you can choose the lithium iron phosphate series. Here come the questions. Is the lithium iron phosphate battery safe?

The Safety Of Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery

l The Production Process Of Lithium Iron Phosphate Battery Cells

Lithium iron phosphate is currently the safest cathode material among lithium-ion batteries. It does not contain any heavy metal elements that are harmful to the human body. It is difficult for oxygen to precipitate in its olivine structure, which improves the stability of the material. The production process of lithium iron phosphate battery cells is roughly the same as that of other types of lithium batteries. Its core processes are batching, coating, rolling, sheeting, and winding. In the batching process, the conductivity of lithium iron phosphate materials is relatively poor, so the particles are generally made smaller. The goal of this is to make the internal arrangement more uniform, which promotes the formation of a balanced voltage platform, and keeps the battery stable while working.

l Safe Charging And Discharging Of Lithium Iron Phosphate

Charging and discharging are the two basic working states of lithium batteries. When the lithium iron phosphate battery is charged and discharged, because the iron ion has a weak oxidation capacity and will not release oxygen, it is naturally difficult to undergo a redox reaction with the electrolyte, which makes the charging and discharging process of the lithium iron phosphate battery in a safe environment. Not only that, it is difficult for lithium iron phosphate batteries to undergo violent oxidation-reduction reactions during high-rate discharge, even during overcharge and discharge. At the same time, after lithium is deintercalated, the final volume of the unit cell will be reduced by the lattice change, which just offsets the increase in the volume of the carbon negative electrode during the reaction. Therefore, the lithium iron phosphate battery can maintain the stability of the physical structure during charging and discharging, eliminating the hidden danger of battery explosion caused by the increase in volume.

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
