To start off I wanna say, We are ALL Americans. We all have the same rights. We have the right to vote and we also have the right to speak what we want, but when you speak remember that WE are ALL Americans.
As of yesterday, January 20, 2017, we have a new President. This may offend some people, but what we as Americans need to realize is, WE are ALL in this together. You may not have voted for President Trump, but he is your President.
As I got on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook yesterday, I was so ashamed.. I was ashamed in who we have become and what we continue to show this world. What people don't realize is their protesting is only hurting the people around them. President Trump doesn't care that you are throwing trash cans around, crying while he's sworn in or holding up signs. He was elected as our President and there is nothing you can do about it.
If you voted for a different candidate, that is fine, but that doesn't mean you can hurt the others around you.
As for me, I voted for President Trump. I believed in him as a man and a leader. You may have voted for Hillary and you may have believed in her, but realize that not everyone is gonna have the same views as you.
This article will more than likely offend a few to many people, but honestly I do NOT care. I am tired of people believing that just because they are offended by a decision, opinion, or even a post, they can say hurtful things to one another or do hurtful things.
As the next 4 years play out, we can only hope for the best for our country. We are ALL Americans and we all have the same rights.
I believe in our nation and I believe that we will overcome the division that is becoming so clear to everyone else in the world. The U.S. has always shown a strong hand to other nations, until now.
When you go out, and voice your opinion to others, just remember, We are ALL Americans and we ALL live under the same rights and regulations.
GOD BLESS THIS COUNTRY!!!
