I have recently found some new products and items that I have really liked and do recommend. Here they are!

1. Keds sneaker socks

I know this might be silly to put socks on here, but these ones are great! They are made for the slip-on sneaker type shoes where you can't really where normal ankle socks. Most sneaker liner socks slip off your feet and don't stay on, however, these do! They are cut differently than most sneakers socks. They are great.

2. Stila Glitter and Glow liquid eyeshadow

I saw these at Ulta and I tested one and wow they are so pigmented! They come in a variety of shades and colors. I chose a neutral gold shimmery one in the shade called "Kitten". They glide right on, stay on for hours and don't crease. I love them!

3. Garnier Micellar Foaming Gel Cleanser

I have used the normal micellar makeup remover from Garnier and I loved it. It got all my makeup off! I saw this at the store recently and bought it and it's a great product. It works the same as the makeup remover in a sense that it removes all makeup! I use it in the shower and my face feels very clean.

4. Tease Eau De Parfum By Victoria's Secret rollerball

I love this scent! It smells great but not too strong. I like the rollerball size because I can throw it in my bag and have it on me at all times. It's my go-to perfume!

5. Oligo Blue Shampoo Blacklight

This is a blue-violet shampoo. I know it sounds weird! It's used to counteract yellow, orange and brassy undertones in your hair. My hairdresser recommended this to me and I like it a lot. It helps keep my hair the color I want. It also makes my hair very soft afterward!

6. Face Exfoliating Gel From European Wax Center- Reveal Me

This is a great product. I would only use it once to two times a week. You rub some on your face and it lifts the dead skin off. It smells good and you can really feel it working! It leaves your face clean and refreshed.

Those are my favorite products and items from April! Hope you try some of them out.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
