If there is one thing in this world that everyone can say that they love, it's music, and probably pizza but for this article's sake we are going to say it's music. What's not to love? There's a genre for anything and everything that will satisfy everyone's taste. Whether it's hip-hop, country, pop, or some of the more under the radar genres, if one thing's for certain, the world will never run out of music.
The best part of music is how it makes you feel. We all know that blissful feeling that runs through you when you find a new song that you absolutely love and will probably listen to on repeat for the next week. Music is also tied with memories. Whether good or bad, hearing certain songs can take you on a trip down memory lane...that hopefully does not involve an ex of any kind.
It would be a disgrace to write an article about music and not mention concerts. Hearing your favorite song blasting through your headphones is one thing, but hearing it live is the real deal. It's so worth the money for those few hours of pure happiness and bass running through your body. Post concert depression is a serious problem and we have all experienced it. Concerts are also a great place to make new friends because for every person you meet, you know you have at least one thing in common.
Don't even get me STARTED on listening to music in the car. Next to singing in the shower, singing in the car is probably my favorite activity. Apologies in advance to anyone who has seen me on the road rocking out in my car by myself at a red light. If you're in the car with your friends...forget about it, everyone is going to be singing at the top of their lungs, guaranteed.
I believe that music brings people closer. I know from experience that people can talk about music for hours and it genuinely makes them happy. There are thousands of accounts of people who have claimed that music has changed their life, that music has saved their life. It's honestly amazing what music can do.
