What's the very first thing someone is judged by? Is it their character, their intellect, or what is it? Sadly, it's none of those things. Unfortunately, the first thing someone uses to judge someone else is their appearance. People seem to think appearances mean everything. Well, I'm here to offer a different view.
Here's a hypothetical: suppose you needed a life-saving operation, and I placed two people in front of you and told you to tell me which one was the surgeon with the know-how to save your life. The first person is 6'9, muscles all over, tattoos running up and down all sides of his arms. This was a scary looking guy. Beside him was someone dressed in a white lab coat and seems respectable and spent most of his life in medical school. If I asked you to tell me which one you thought was the surgeon, you would tell me the one in the lab coat was the doctor, right?
Actually, the guy you pointed to was a criminal who just got out of prison for minor theft and was in the middle of a drug bust. He actually cooked in a meth lab. The guy with the tattoos was the real surgeon, but you made a judgement call based solely on the appearances of the two people, and you thought the appearances were everything, when in reality, you could not have been more wrong.
Appearances are not everything. And the sooner people everywhere swallow this hard truth, the better off people will be.
Look at the person's heart to determine who they are, not what the person looks like on the outside.
