The App Changing The Game In NYC: DIDiT NY

How many times have you been dressed and ready for a night out, only to realize you have nowhere to go? Way too many. Me, too.

So, you and your squad embark on the endless quest to find something to do. You’re all sitting in a circle on your phones trying to figure out what exactly you can do. Before you know it, it’s 11 p.m. and none of you have moved.

Have no fear, an answer to your problem is here! It’s name is DIDiT, an app and website that everyone in or near NYC needs!

Check out DIDiT NY!

Looking for a new brunch spot? DIDiT’s got you covered. Searching for an awesome bar? DIDiT knows what’s up. Want an activity to entertain the whole crew? DIDiT will show you. Soon enough, you’ll be wondering how you ever figured out what to do without DIDiT’s help.

The app curates those “Top Ten” lists that you always see on Facebook, but never know where to find when you really need them. You’ll find suggestions from popular publishers like Timeout, Thrillist, BuzzFeed, and more, for just about anything you want to do.

Now, you can organize all those awesome lists into personalized categories to keep track of what you want to do and what you’ve done. Create categories for all different occasions or places.

You can follow publishers, creators, celebrities, and even your friends! Share lists with your squad throughout the week and have a weekend full of fun planned with no sweat.

You can even search by neighborhood to see what’s closest to where you are right now. Never be stuck wondering what to do when you’re stuck in Brooklyn after your plans for the night fall through. With DIDiT you’ll be able to easily find an awesome bite to eat before or after seeing a Broadway show. No more resorting to Subway sandwiches or going to 5 Napkin Burger for the 500th time (even though, let’s be honest, 5 Napkin Burger is always good).

Seriously, DIDiT has changed the game when it comes to planning. No longer will you find me sitting in the closest Starbucks, trying to figure out what I’ll be doing for the rest of the night. Get DIDiT and share your favorite NYC spots with me!

Sorority
Rebekah Lee

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
