To The Anxious Person Who Doesn't Think They're Worth It

You are amazing.

To the person with anxiety,

I know you are painfully aware of your surroundings and that is ok but I need you to know a few things…

The outfit you are wearing is perfect. I don’t know if you took a long time to pick it out or not but it looks great on you. I promise that no one is going to notice that you wore that sweatshirt for the fourth time today. So what that dress shows off some cleavage? Work it girl. Those pants you have on today make your butt look fine. You seriously have nothing to worry about.

Those people over there. They are just starring off into space as they talk. Think about it…you stare off into space sometimes. They are not staring at you I promise. Even if they are starring at you…I told you that your outfit was perfect. They are probably just admiring the view. It is fine just mind your own business and they’ll mind theirs.

No, you are NOT fat and you are NOT ugly! Who told you that you were? They were wrong.

That test you are about to take. That you studied for three days for. That test is your bitch. You will pass it with flying colors. Even if you don’t. It is not the end of the world even though I know it feels like it is.

You are smarter than you think you are.

Take all the negative things that anyone has ever said about you or that you have ever thought about yourself and throw them in the fire. Those words do NOT define you. Someone else's actions and words do NOT define who you are and how you feel.

One last thing…

YOU ARE beautiful. YOU ARE smart. YOU ARE amazing. YOU ARE the worlds greatest.

But above all

You ARE loved.

So f*&k anybody who says otherwise.

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
