When you know something is imminent and that it’s coming in the near future, but you don’t exactly know when, it’s tough to not think about that thing all the time. Let’s be honest, humans don’t really like waiting for anything. They want it on demand. Right now, the thing I’m most excited for is Paramore’s 5th studio album to be announced and released. You most likely aren’t excited for that but there’s probably something your excited for.

If I had my way this new Paramore album would be announced this week and be out on Friday. But unfortunately for me that’s probably not going to happen. Waiting for things to happen that are exciting is a pain but waiting for them is half the fun. Once that thing comes that you’ve been waiting for, it passes by in a flash. Your most likely super excited for whatever it is before it happens or is released and when it does come and you get to experience it, your ecstatic. But that feeling soon fades, and the situation that you experienced soon becomes apart of your life.

Once the moment you’ve been waiting for arrives, you really need to enjoy it while it’s around. An experience such as going camping with your best friend is only going to happen for so long. Music is something different-you anticipate this album dropping and how amazing it’s going to be when you finally hear it. You listen to it like 40 times the day it comes out and the next day and so on but then you're going to want more, and the cycle starts all over again. If you enjoy the album the day it comes out and you appreciate it, then you’ll probably get a lot more enjoyment out of it.

Seeing as how I'm getting older I’ve noticed that everything is going by a lot faster. Christmas flew by this past year so fast it was crazy. I have learned to enjoy things while they are happening. Going back to this Paramore record that is coming out eventually, I want the album out immediately but at the same time I’m really enjoying the buildup to it. I’m enjoying the process that all the Paramore fans are going through right now waiting for this album.

The whole point of this weird article is to enjoy the process leading up to whatever it is you are anticipating. When the event or album release or whatever does happen, enjoy it as best as you can.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

April Ludgate

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
