Chad Needs to Go and Jojo Needs to Find Love

Another crazy one on "The Bachelorette."

"The Bachelor/Bachelorette" has returned for its 12th season with the bachelorette being JoJo Fletcher, a 25-year-old real estate developer from Dallas, Texas. Bachelor Nation fell in love with her on the last season of the bachelor where Ben Higgins chose Laura Bushnell instead of runner up, JoJo. The fans wanted her as the next bachelorette and they got her!

At the fourth episode in, everyone probably has their favorites. Personally, mine is Luke and if JoJo doesn't take him, I will. But it's no different than any other season. We have the nice, good country boys like Chase, Luke and James and the former professional quarterback, Jordan. And then we get to the one person that everyone is always talking about. That's right, the crazy one and this season it is Chad. Now, he isn't crazy like Lace was on Ben's season or Ashley on Chris's, he is just on a different level.

People like Lace and Ashley were fun to watch, they gave us a good laugh. But Chad is rude to everyone, including JoJo, and contentiously threatens the other men in the house and thinks it's no big deal. You don't believe me? Well here are some examples.

On a group date with six men, including Chad, the group goes to SportsNation where they competed in three different events that included a football drill to get to JoJo with flowers, the dizzy baseball bat game and a press conference. On this date Chad refused to tell JoJo why he likes her and tells he that she keeps nagging him. What man actually does this? Oh, Chad did. On the fourth episode after he was sent home, he then went to say how JoJo is "fake, because, I can tell the way she talked to me, I can tell the way she looked at me. She's either an actress or she's a complete [this part was bleeped out]. There's only two options here." But, I think you can use your imagination to fill in that gap.

Chad has had may memorable quotes like: "The only way I can get you to shut your mouth is to hit you in it," and "Apparently Evan just bleeds thinking about me."

Not to mention, "Alex lied. He told her I threatened people and you know what? Now I gotta go find Alex." This was said after he said that he's not a violent guy and after he told Jordan; "you think this is a show. And you think you're safe, for now. But one day, this will end. And when this ends, you go home. When you go home you think that I can't find you? You think I won't go out of my way to come to your house?" I think we got a keeper, ladies. Or not! Thank God JoJo sent him home!

I will admit, Chad made the show interesting while it lasted. What are we going to do now without all the rude comments and threats? I will tell you what I am going to do. I am going to watch one of my favorite shows and hope that our girl JoJo can find love with the amazing men left.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
