I can't speak for good anime titles on Amazon but there's are a good bunch of amazing shows on Netflix. Narrowing it down to three choices is a little too strict for me, so here are five of my recommendations for animes to watch.
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood
Two brothers' emotional journey filled to the brim with likeable characters and an immersive world that manages to suck you in with the homely steampunk vibe that it gives off. I guarantee you will be attached to a handful of characters during your watch session.
Psycho-Pass
A dark, drab world filled with crime and a mechanical system is the judge for your sins. There's a lot of thinking with this series, so be prepared to ponder over what questions are posed to you when you watch. It really makes you think about society as a whole. Plus, it's cyberpunk, so the soundtrack and the visuals are really amazing.
Death Note
An amazing crime thriller/suspense all centered around the power of a single notebook. There's a lot of scenes in it that'll bring you to the edge of your seat, mostly because the show does a good job at making you want to see how characters get out of sticky situations. There's also a handful of twists and turns and people getting outsmarted so get ready for that.
Samurai Champloo
Three unlikely buddies go on a journey across feudal Japan. Trust me, this show is really fun to watch. There's a good hip-hop soundtrack to it, the humor is good, all the main characters are charming and even though there's many elements to the story that seem out of place, it's the show's eclectic nature that makes it very engaging.
Kill la Kill
Over the top action combined with over the top characters alongside a healthy dosage of fan service. Yeah, the fan service might throw you off, but rest assured, everything about KLK works to its advantage. It's how they utilize ridiculousness and use that to mold its characters into likable people. By the end, you'll be attached to both heroes and villains. The soundtrack is also godly.
Special mention: Hunter x Hunter
I'm currently following this on Cartoon Network/Toonami but I love it so far. There's a nice feeling of innocence to the show. I don't think you can't not adore the main cast. They're really relatable in the sense that I want to see them succeed so that's a huge plus in my eyes.
