We all take in lessons for the things that surrounded us on a daily basis. It can come from those you love, it can also come from the things you love. Here is a list of top five lessons, in no order, that the animated has taught me.

1. “Even if I can’t see you...no matter how far away you may be...I will always be watching over you. I’ll definitely watch over you forever.” - Makarov Dreyar, Fairy Tail

The quote correlates to the signal of the hands within the picture. Right hand up, palm facing yourself with your pointer finger standing tall and thumb standing out. It tells you that someone will forever be in your heart, no matter where the world will take them. It tells you that you will always remember, you won’t forget and you’ll be wishing for the best.

2. “The flower that blooms in adversity is the most rare and beautiful of all.” - Emperor of China, Mulan

An iconic movie, Mulan teaches plenty of lessons within just its running time but this quote proves to me to be the strongest of the movie. Someone who learns of themselves and becomes a beautiful person in the struggle of it all will always radiate a sense of beauty. It's rare to find a person like this because some don’t grow while going through a struggle and that’s why you must climb because you would even want to knock yourself down but don’t. Be rare and beautiful.

3. “There is no need to feel despair for with death comes hope and rebirth.” - Sailor Saturn, Sailor Moon

A classic, a beautiful animated classic, Sailor Moon. First premiered in the 90s, the character that is given here is Sailor Saturn in her reanimated form Sailor Moon Crystal. I feel as though those who have lost someone can feel this quote more than others, but then those who are willing to embrace the inevitable fate of death can as well. Needing no explanation, the quote can speak for itself. Nothing ends with death, there is more and there will always be more. Even after the end.

4. “The head may err but never the blood.” - Atsushi Nakajima, Bungou Stray Dogs

Ah, this quote is a tricky one. The character is actually based off of a Japanese author with the same name and the quote is from one of his books. It, the quote, holds a strong meaning and tells you that going with your head is not always okay. By err, Nakajima-san is talking about how your head made me confused due to hesitant nature of doing the wrong thing but your blood can never go wrong as its thoughts are consistent. Does it make sense? Instead of being complicated, the quote is saying that your head might be hesitant and confuse your actions but your blood is going to tell you the right way. I’m going to take it as to go with your gut feeling.

5. “No matter how foolish or incomprehensible, some love cannot be discarded. You may try to stop your heart, unable to forgive yourself, but there will be times when you lose hope as your heart is moved again.” - Ik-soo, Yona of The Dawn

This quote speaks so much volume that nothing is needed to explain.

All of these animated characters have taught me lessons and help guided me in a personal struggle, as foolish as it might sound. There are plenty of other quotes from series, movies and so much more that do not come to mind as of right now. However, I wouldn't mind creating more of these!

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
