With finals week beginning all of us have entered into a state of shock, stress, and disbelief. The semester is almost done, and most of our brains are stuck in October mode. This final crunch time stresses us out and we can’t seem to catch up. Papers are due, exams are now, and don’t forget to clean your room before going home! There is always something else to do. At this point, all of us can be described by one of these great animal pictures. As most of my friends know, I have been all of these animals in the past week. Here’s some cute animals you can relate to while you procrastinate some more!

1. The need for affection

2. Procrastination at its finest

3. Getting out of bed is the hardest part

4. After taking the final exam, or right before taking the first one

5. Who needs exercise anyway?

6. The stress after we realize that exam week is actually here

7. Exhaustion leads to super giggly weirdness

8. Jumping over the little hurdles is the greatest success

9. Just trying to crawl away from the exams that are trapping us

10. Falling asleep in weird positions

11. Trying to give your friends a boost to get through the week

12. Knowing break is so close, but that we can’t leave until we are done with exams

13. As we clean our rooms right before break and realize how much hair accumulates over a semester

14. We hit that point when we just want to be alone

15. The need for pizza

16. After watching 2 hours of Netflix and then realizing you have done nothing and have an exam in 30 minutes

17. One more cookie to reward myself for studying!!

18. As we run closer and closer to the end and then trip over the last exam.

19. Stress leads to more eating and exams lead to more stress

20. Every day

21. There’s a lot of sleep involved

22. As we near the end and we are just so done with trying to be normal

23. Looking at notes from the classes you slept through

24. Food is energy to get through the all nighters

25. Coffee becomes life

26. Never wake a sleeping college student

27. Looking at the multiple choice questions and crying silently

28. Starting the exam and realizing you can’t even answer the first question

29. When the professor says the exam is cumulative

30. After the 2nd exam, but before the other 2

31. Reaching out to each other to see if they need help

32. When your roommate reminds you that you have an exam in 20 minutes

Good luck on all your exams!! May the odds be ever in your favor!

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.

December... it's full of finals, due dates, Mariah Carey, and the holidays. It's the worst time of the year, but the best because after finals, you get to not think about classes for a month and catch up on all the sleep you lost throughout the semester. But what's worse than finals week is the last week of classes, when all the due dates you've put off can no longer be put off anymore.
