Recently, the most purchased phones on the market are Androids and iPhones. There are major differences and similarities between the two that make each worth spending money on. Many people tend to have deal breakers or specific things to each that make a person want to buy one over the other.

iPhones, with their sleek design and color options depending on which model you choose, have attracted many customers. The original iPhone had only one color, which was black. Then by the time the iPhone 4 came out, they came in black and white. The 4s was their first major seller because there was a feature added called Siri. Siri is a personal assistant to the owner of the phone. You could ask Siri any question and she would answer. Then the 5c came out with a different design. The back of the 5c are plastic opposed to the previous models that were glass. The 5c came in five colors: white, pink, blue, green and yellow, making a larger variety to pick from. Followed by the 5s after with the most popular feature yet, being able to log into your phone, not with a passcode, but with your fingerprint. Lastly, the two final models released were the 6 and 6 plus. For the most part, the 6 is the same as the 5s, but the 6 plus is made much larger and resembles a mini tablet.

iPhone has a much larger price. Any model 4s and under are harder to find because most people want a newer model. The newer models range from 200-600 each for just the phone itself. There are constant updates on the iPhones, iOS software allowing a person to get new features on their phone every couple of months. Some have noticed that iPhone apps are much faster than Android apps. There is a slightly longer battery capacity, allowing a person to do much more in a longer amount of time. The iPhone franchise has been contracted with much fewer phone carriers as opposed to Android. If someone has a carrier such as Boost Mobile, you will not be able to have an iPhone. One big reason some may consider the decision on whether or not they want to purchase an iPhone over an Android is that iPhone screens are smaller.

Androids have come in many more different styles and options than iPhone. This is because Android is contracted with more brands like Motorola and Nokia and carriers like Boost Mobile and Sprint. The most popular Android brand is the Samsung Galaxy franchise. The first Galaxy was made to be something like a small notebook that came with a stylus pen that gave a person with the ability to write without using their hands. The most recent Galaxy S6 has a screen that expands from one edge of the phone to the other.

To a person who finds themselves on a budget when choosing a phone, Androids are the much cheaper choice. Android devices tend to react slower the more memory that is used up and cause apps to lag some. Regarding the look, Androids tend to look a little out-dated. Some even take resemblance of the 2007 flip phone. Also, Androids have fewer apps available than iPhones -- almost 75,000. Then again the only thing that matters is what you prefer.

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

There are a lot of really easy, common names in the U.S. and while many of those simple names have different spellings, most of the time, pronunciation is not an issue that those people need to worry about. However, others are not as fortunate and often times give up on corrections after a while. We usually give an A+ for effort. So, as you could probably imagine, there are a few struggles with having a name that isn’t technically English. Here are just a few…

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.
