We all anticipate it the long wait for the debut of Apple’s latest products. Wondering what new technology is going to come out of the works. Well with the latest release of their new products on September 7th of the newest iWatch and the iPhone 7 with it’s sleek design, new colors and of course the new technology is what makes it the most desired product on the market. But once technology advances, things get more complicating and that is not a good thing for college students. Here are 5 struggles that are bound to happen.

1. Water Proof?

The answer is yes! The iWatch and iPhone are water resistant up to 50 meters. So if you ever get pushed into a pool. Of course not after a wild night of partying it will be completely safe! No need to dunk it in a bag of rice.

2. No more passing the AUX cord

I can already see it now, a rushed student in the morning throwing everything around trying to find their wallet well now we have 1 more thing to worry about nope just kidding two little earphone pods to worry about! Yes, there is no wire connecting them! Why they design it this way? Because they wanted to make people’s lives difficult! I get it, wires get tangled, but I guarantee 99 percent of students or just people in general will-in fact lose a pod or both pods! Bring back the tangled earphones! Also, this I-Phone does not have an earphone jack?! WHAT on earth?? I guess no more passing the AUX cord to your friends.

3. Is this camera good for Selfies?

This camera is legit! It’s a 12 MP camera and if you ever want to zoom in you can! And it will be clearer than ever! So say bye to those blurry pictures, this camera has your Instagram selfies looking good!

4. Ballin' on a budget

I cannot tell you how many times I’ve gone eating ramen for a week because obviously, that’s the college student struggle! But if you want to purchase the phone it will set you back $649! Now that’s a lot of packaged noodles! For the watch, it depends on what band you order with it. They are as cheap as $269 and can go up to $1049! Might as well just buy a laptop while you’re at it!

5. In the end, will it make you happy?

I-Phone and I-Watches are always a great choice. Majority of us have them and they are honestly the coolest products out there, but will this new phone and watch have too many cons for the average person? You decide!

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week.
