Did A Sea World Whale Try To Kill Itself?
Morgan the killer whale appeared to beach herself and was filmed lying motionless for more than ten minutes by concerned onlookers

An Orca located at Sea world was seen to show behaviors of trying to kill itself after performing for tourist. Many people have had a disgust with sea world as they have been revealed through documentaries the abuse they give towards their killer whales. The orca named Morgan who is located at Loro Parque, Spain. Morgan at the end of her “performance” had launched herself outside of the pool and laid still. This was a sign for help as orcas do not stay still and is seen as unnatural behavior. Laying still and enduring the pain instead of trying to get back into the water was a clear way of this animal giving up. This was also very dangerous as the body weight outside of water becomes heavier for the muscles and crush their organs. The orca just jumped onto the concrete as its last chance to rid itself of the immense torture that it has been through. This orca was born in the wild and was taken in to be treated and then released but the release never happened. Moran is still in captivity but their have been petitions for her release as more people begin to criticize Sea world's methods.

Killer whales should not be taught tricks for the laugh of a few thousand they are not small dogs who need to be taught obedience. Once a whale is taken from the wild and rehabilitated for a long period of time it can not maintain itself in the wild. Being taken from its natural home and pacts makes it difficult to learn how to survive on its own. Rehabilitation is supposed to be temporary until they are in good conditions to move and swim. In these situations money and power is what is most important for them to keep killer whales for profit. Orca whales in the wild live between 70-80 years old. Which is the most amazing and beautiful thing in the world. Except in captivity they live less than 9 years under Sea Worlds watch. Later there were pictures released of the trainers putting Morgan back into its tiny pool later on that day. He is still being held in captivity as other parties are tying to get more information on Morgan.

They are slowing being isolated and tormented until they die. Sea world has been known to lie about these numbers by telling people that they live up to ten years in order to keep their reputation but they live much longer than that. Later after this event taking a look at the other orcas they had in captivity a lot of them had fractured teeth, would be floating with no motion or strength in tiny tanks. There's now a Free Morgan Foundation that want to put an end to its captivity. Their should be an end Sea world Foundations to just get rid of Sea World to put an end to the pain they give to their killer whales. I'm still puzzled as to why Sea World is still a running business throughout the years of bad publicity on how poorly they treat their performing whales. It is strange to know that animals have the capability to end its own life. This gives the whale human attributes, which makes it so much easier to love.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.
