To My New Sisters,
Thank you for welcoming me into your family. It hasn't been long since I've met you during recruitment week, but I feel like I've known you all for years. Recruitment week was insanely stressful and nerve wracking. From waiting for the phone call that thankfully never came to finding out who I received a bid from, you were all there for me at every event and made me feel like I was a sister before I even was.
You are all the most thoughtful, caring, and genuine women I have ever had the fortune of meeting. The way you accepted not only myself, but the other new sisters has been nothing short of amazing. From our shopping trips to hockey games to boy advice, you have all made such an impact on me in only a little bit of time.
Coming into Greek life, I was really scared that I wouldn't fit in and that Recruitment week wouldn't be worth all of the stress, but after the first night, I knew all of my preconceived notions about Greek life were wrong. Sitting and talking with all of you during the events made me realize that there I would always have someone to be there for me.
To the sister who made the biggest impact on me during recruitment, I am so glad to have met you. Sitting with you two nights in a row and realizing that we are the exact same person, with the same likes and dislikes, made my decision easier than expected — especially since I knew there was another person who loved Tommy Gavin as much as I do, if not more.
To my pledge class, I love you all. You all have the best personalities and senses of humor ever. Our Disney movie sing-alongs make us laugh more than we actually sing (but seriously when are we auditioning for The Voice?).
Thank you all for becoming the sisters I wish I had growing up. Joining a sorority has been the best decision of my life and I'm fortunate to call myself one of your sisters!
Alpha love and mine too,
Your Babybug
