My dear friends,
My life has significantly been spun upside down in the past couple of week. Things have been hard, stressful, scary, life altering, and most of all devastating. This week I just want to share with everyone who is reading that I am thankful. I am thankful for anyone who has said kind words, given my family uplifting spirits, and most importantly prayed. I can honestly say without all of those things I may not be coping the way I have been able to. When times get rough you can honestly tell who is going to be by your side through thick and thin. I just want anyone in my community who has been supportive to know, from the bottom of my heart, that I feel extremely blessed.
The Bible says, in 2 Corinthians 2:5-8 (NIV), “If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you to some extent—not to put it too severely. The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient. Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.” This feels really relevant to our situation and I just want it to be a reminder to all; forgive as God forgave us. Once again, I just want to openly thank each and every person as there have been far more many than I could have ever imagined who have reached out.
