I can’t express how much of an impact you had on me. I am the student and writer I am today because of your instruction and aid.
Thank you for being nit-picky about the little details in my writing. Because of this, I learned how to write as concisely and accurately as possible. Thanks for pushing me and challenging me to improve. While I may not have appreciated the hours of editing and revising back then in high school, I certainly do now.
Thanks for believing in my writing when I didn’t. Thank you for dedicating countless hours into Google Docs revising my essays and giving me feedback. There were days when I thought my writing was atrocious but you believed otherwise. You gave me the confidence for sharing my writing at conferences, symposiums, etc.
In short, thank you for being an amazing teacher and a mentor. I wouldn’t be where I am today if I had not received your guidance.
