Everyone has a person or a group of friends who is always there for them no matter what. It could be your closest friend, your boyfriend, your sibling or even your parents. Here is what I wish to tell the person who is always there for me.

I want to start by saying thank you! I can't thank you enough for being there for me and constantly loving me. You have always listened when I needed someone to talk to you. You have been there when I needed a hug, and you were always a shoulder to cry on when I needed one. You love me and were there for me even when I was rude to you and treated you like crap. You did not deserve to be treated that way.

RELATED: An Open Letter To Freshman Year Me

I am so very sorry for being rude and disrespectful. There were days I just came in and started ranting. I never took the time to ask how you were, how your day was or made sure you were OK. I was too focused on myself and getting the anger out. I was very rude and mean, and I am very sorry for that. I also sorry for being grumpy in general. There are days were I am quiet and do not want to talk or do anything, and it comes across mean and rude. I am sorry for being rude and apologize for future days like that.

I am also sorry for not asking how you were doing. You were there for me, and I should have been there for you. You have feelings, too, and I am sure there were times I ranted and you need someone to talk to. I should have been respectful and asked what was going on and been there for you like you were there for me.

You are my number one fan! You have supported me with everything I do. Whether it was something I participated in or I was feeling lost, you have been there for me when I did not know what to do. You are always honest with me. You are never afraid to tell me your honest opinion, or tell me what I really need to hear.

I want to thank you again. If I never had your support, honesty and listening, I honestly do not know where I would be. You have cheered me up when I was having the worst day. You were my shoulder to cry on. You gave me advice when I need it. You help me with everything I need help with. Without your friendship, I honestly do not know if I would be the women I am today.

I want to say I love you. I love you for everything about you. You have always been there for me, which I can't stress enough. You have loved me on my roughest days, and I want to promise you that I am there for you, too. You deserve everything you have given me, and I want to give it to you. When you need someone to rant to, a hug, a shoulder to cry on, someone to pray with or just someone to be with you, I am yours. I promise I will always be there for you, just like you are there for me.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

It's not all morning coffees and singing along to the radio.

The Daily Struggles of Being a College Commuter

I've been in college for four years now. I spent half my time as a commuter and half as a resident so I've experienced both sides of the housing spectrum. One thing I've learned comparing the two is that my struggles as a commuter far outweigh anything I went through while living on campus. Commuters have to deal with the problems school brings along with a slew of other issues; I've filled up my gas tank in the worst kind of weather conditions and napped in random places in public more times than I'm proud to say of. This is a list of some of the most challenging aspects of being a commuter.
