You are the one that swept me off my feet.

To The One I Will Marry

You’ve done it. You captured my heart. I have thought so long and hard about the man you would be. The man who would one day ask my dad for my hand, and the man I would run away with. I have prayed for you since I was a little girl. I pray now that you will be loved the way God desires you to be loved. I pray that I will let your heart run wild; that I will be vulnerable enough for you to unveil my beauty. I pray every day that I will be kind, quiet, and faithful to you always; faithful in every way. I will be there for you through the good times and the bad, the happy and the sad. No matter what the occasion, I will stand by your side with a smile because you, simply, are enough.” When the rain is blowing in your face and the whole world is on your case. I could offer you a warm embrace to make you feel my love.”-Adele “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor other, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delights in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails.” 1 Corinthians 13: 4-8 I have worked hard to prepare my heart to love the way that God designs love to be, and I have wondered who would be the person to receive my love.

When you get on one knee

Know that I have waited for you my whole life. I have hoped that this would happen since you first swept me off my feet. I trust with my heart that you have made this decision knowing God has approved us spending the rest of our lives together. When you ask me to marry you, you ask for every part of me… the messy hair, loud laugh, and obsession with Netflix. But you also marry the girl who runs for God, the one who adores you more than you will ever know. “I could make you happy, make your dreams come true. Nothing that I wouldn’t do, go to the ends of the earth for you. To make you feel my love.” -Adele

Happily Ever After

It wont be easy and it may not be fun at times but it’ll be our happily ever after. You will be my world. You will be my rock and my comfort. I pray for this time, for our future. I pray that it will be full of laughter and love, of prayer and commitment. I pray that God prepares my heart for this time; that I will be able to love you unconditionally as long as I live. I pray that He continually melts my heart when I see you. I pray that we are blessed in every way. That my breath is still taken away when you kiss me. I pray that no matter what, you are ready for anything He brings. I ask that you will be led by Him and we, your family, will follow.

I promise to love you with every breath I take. I promise to give you my all in every aspect of my life. I promise to give you the fullest life I can. I promise to be your forever.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
