Being a female in this day and age can be one of the most stressful things. The world is becoming more judgmental and materialistic each day.
So, to the girls who notice the fact that they are different, and feel like it is hard to fit in… It’s okay. Whether you are a size 00 or a size 13, you are beautiful. Let me repeat that. You are beautiful. Whether you feel that way or not, every little thing is so amazing about you. The make up that you wear does not define who you are as a person. Having the latest trends and keeping up with the latest high value fixes, means absolutely nothing until you understand your worth. I am telling you this out of personal experience. At one point in my life, I was so insecure and I never felt like I was enough. It wasn’t until I started thinking of myself in a more positive way that changed that mindset that I have. I know that people are constantly saying this to you, but you seriously have to understand how true it is. You are unique, smart, kind, flawless (whether you think you have flaws or not because honestly you don’t), humble, and so so much more. You have so much going for you in your life and it’s not until you start looking through a different set of eyes and allowing yourself to truly feeling that way about yourself. I can assure you that every thing about you is so stinking perfect. As a female (just like you), I know the struggle but with the help of a new perspective, you and I can both do this together. Whether you know it or not, God loves you.
"Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you?"
"But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me."
"For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well."
"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
So, my advice to you: find solace in who you are both mentally and physically, being joyful with where you are in your life right now.
