First off I just want to say thank you. Thank you for treating me so well and being my home away from home for the last eight months. I’ll start with thanking you for the bad times first; thank you for being there for my first real boyfriend breaking up with me, that time I had a breakdown during my first semester, you were there the time I screamed because I could not figure out what to write and I was mad I waited until two am the night before it was due to start it, you were there when I found out that same boyfriend had been cheating on me for months, you were there for the panic attack I had in the middle of the night and saw how I stayed on the floor to scared to move. Now lets thank you for all those amazing times; you were there for the dance party I had when Ed Sheeran’s new album came out and I loved it so much that I blasted it for hours, you were there for the first second and third time I got way too drunk and threw up for hours it got so bad that I thought I was dying ( praying to the porcelain God is an understatement), thanks for being there for those hangovers as well thank you not judging me even though you probably were, you were also there to watch me fall for my new boyfriend as well you got to see the constant smile that followed as well. You were there for a lot of my firsts and a few of my lasts as well. Thank you for being there for the good and the bad and for being there to witness it from August until May. I would not change it for the world.

I remember my freshman year oh so well. I remember feeling terrified the night before orientation. The one thing that I dreaded the most was not the new people, the new environment, or even the academic pressure. I was dreading having to talk to sorority girls about Recruitment. I remember cutting off and avoiding any Rho Gamma/Panhellenic Officer that came my way during First Week. I looked at them like they had asked me to cut my arm off whenever they asked me if I wanted to rush. To be honest, I did not even know what rush was, but I knew that I did NOT want to be a part of it. To me, it was dumb. It was a waste of money. It was a waste of my time.

And guess what? I did not rush my freshman year. I spent the first half of my freshman year isolating myself from everyone on campus. I spent all of my time in the library, and then (since I was a commuter) went back home once my work was finished.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
