To The Boy I Love

Thanks to you I know one thing to be certain; true love does exist.

Since the day I saw your smile, I knew you'd play a role in my life, but I didn't know you'd end up playing the lead.

You've always been the one. The one who wiped my tears when I cried, bought me ice cream on hot days, ate my not-so-great cooking, and showed me that there is magic in love.

Before you, I tried to place people in roles in which they didn't belong. I tried to find the perfect character within imperfect people and despite the long wait, you kept trying. You held my hand through every miscast and listened to me cry when I couldn't keep it together.

Thank you for not giving up on me, because if you had, I couldn't bear to watch the ending. An ending that entails lost love and regret. Thanks to you I know one thing to be certain; true love does exist. The kind of love I thought only happens in the movies. The kind that sweeps you off your feet.

You support me in whatever seemly impossible task I choose to take on. You encourage me and genuinely want me to succeed. On days when things seem too hard and I feel like I don't have strength, you are always there to lend me some.

And for that, I promise to do the same for you. I promise to play the role I chose to take on with passion and enough love to last a lifetime because you deserve it. I promise that every day I'll show you that I deserve to play the lead and no matter what I'll be your biggest fan because you've always been mine.

I know that when the credits start to play and the theater begins to empty, you were the right choice. The perfect lead.

Tiana would no doubt be disappointed in the food our cafeteria has to offer.

And hopefully she would cook for everyone in her dorm.

She definitley would not take any 8:00 am classes because she would be up late baking and cleaning up the communal kitchen that are available in every dorm.
