Dear Rainy Weather,

First of all, you suck. I don't mind you when you come around every once in a while, but it's been weeks now and enough is enough.

I understand that California has been in a drought for a while and that you're probably a good thing, but I'm selfish and I get cold easily so you're really not helping me out. I'm from SoCal for crying out loud. The worst is when I fail to realize that there's a huge puddle on the ground and the water soaks through to my socks. Ugh. You're the worst.

Don't even get me started with the process that getting out the door entails. I can't just walk out like any other day because that would be way too simple, wouldn't it? Instead, I have to make sure I have enough layers on, check that I have a water-resistant jacket on, be sure to wear my boots and make sure that I don't forget my umbrella. I miss the days of being able to go out without it feeling like a diva who takes ten million years just to head out the door.

Oh, and the best is walking to class, especially when I'm already running late. Because not only am I stressed out from walking long distances in a rush, but the awful process is only intensified when I'm being pelted by rainwater darting straight at me from the sky while I'm already freezing because it's winter and it's cold outside. How marvelous.

I remember how excited I was to move from Southern California to Northern California because of how green it is here compared to my SoCal desert town. The only thing I failed to realize is that of course, it's green. Why wouldn't it be green and pretty in an area where the rainy weather is relentless and stops at nothing? Who would've thought? Anyway, I just wanted to say that I've come to realize that I hate you and I would gladly go back to living in an area where I used to complain about the heat and warm sunny weather. All I can say to that is, what the heck was I thinking back then? Oh, and also you suck.

Sincerely,

Someone who is sick and tired of the rainy weather

For the average 20-something, life moves pretty fast. You’ve got classes, friends, relationships, jobs, family, and whatever else we overcommit ourselves with. I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.

College students, you might be able to relate to this one. These probably sound familiar because we often tell ourselves these phrases; however, we are unable to follow or agree with these the following, deep down inside of our overwhelmed, tired minds.

1. "No more spending money on useless things"

Until you walk into a 99 cents store and suddenly have the urge to pick up anything that's less than a dollar.

As college students, we are all familiar with the horror show that is course registration week. Whether you are an incoming freshman or selecting classes for your last semester, I am certain that you can relate to how traumatic this can be.

1. When course schedules are released and you have a conflict between two required classes.

Bonus points if it is more than two.
