This quote is the definition of our friendship. I would do anything for you, no matter if it is wrong or right. You are my person You are my soul mate. I am truly beginning to believe that your best friend is your soul mate and guys are just people to have fun with. Because you never leave me, no matter what. And lets be honest here, you and I both know we come first in any relationship. Having a soul mate isn't always about love. You can find a soulmate in a friendship too, and that is what we did.
All those countless nights just laying in bed with me cuddling because one of us has had a bad day, I will never take for granted. The best thing about those times is we do not have to even talk. we just know that each other is there and that is the most comforting thing anyone can ever do. To all the endless junk food that you and I have eaten to all the Netflix we have watched together and to pouring our hearts out to one another,I will never forget. I will also never take for granted all those Target trips that you take with me because you know that is my happy place. I cannot begin to tell you how many stupid videos and pictures we have taken together take up so much space on my phone but I will never delete them.
You know my weaknesses and my strengths, and yet you do not judge me for any stupid mistakes that I have made in the past or that I have just made hours before calling you to vent. When something happens in my life, good or bad, you are the first person I call. You are my therapist but thankfully enough you don't charge outrageous amounts of money.
You and I don't have to talk every day or even for awhile, especially when life gets busy. When we eventually do it's like nothing ever happened, never skipping a beat. When we finish each other sentences and laugh until both of our stomachs hurt, that is what living in the moment is with you. Heck, we just give each other a look and we know exactly what we are thinking.
When I am being absolutely ridiculous you can just look at me and tell me to " Shut up,you are over reacting " and I will know you are right. You are the only one able to do that. You get inside my head and I thank you for that. You are the only one I truly let my wall down for. You and I have this friendship where we aggressively believe in each other, we defend each other, and we talk each other up. In life,this is very rare, this special connection that you and I have, It's pure magic.
I may not be able to solve all your problems, but I promise that you will not have to face them alone. You are my ride or die literally. We can survive anything together, even when the odds are not supposed to go in our favor, we somehow still come out on top. I love you more each day and I wish you could see yourself the way I see you. I wish you could love yourself the way I love you. Nevertheless, I wish your life is everything you want in life because I truly believe you deserve the world. I will stand by you through all the heartbreaks, all the laughs, tears, good times and bad. I will stand by you forever. My heart will always have a place for you in it, right where you belong.
