As I’m getting older and moving on to bigger chapters of my life, I am finally noticing (and appreciating) all the things you have done and constantly do for me. You've become so much more than just my mother. You're my friend, confidant, and partner for singing in the car.
Thank you for your unconditional love and everlasting friendship. You are my best friend and you always have been. I’ve always seen your love whether it's posting on Facebook about how proud you are of me, making it to absolutely every possible event for me, or understanding when I make a dumb decision.
Thank you for giving me everything I ever wanted and needed. You’ve given me all the tools that I could possibly ever need in order to have the best future. I know it was a huge deal sending me to Nazareth. Thank you and I’m sorry for never ever wanting to go to school or never ever wanting to do my homework.
Thank you for always believing in me even when no one else did, especially when I didn’t believe in myself. You are the person I can thank for giving me my great self confidence. You encouraged me to keep reaching for the unreachable and never settling for anything less than I deserved.
Thank you for putting up with me when I’ve had a bad day. Sorry for taking it out on you.
Thanks for teaching me how to laugh at myself, see the good in everyone, curse, be the kindest person I can be, apply lipstick without looking in the mirror, love, get a good sale, roll with the punches, and most importantly be myself.
And lastly, thanks for allowing me to be so open with you. There is no other person on this planet suitable enough to be my mother.
