Dear Future Husband,

Hello Handsome,

I just want you to know how lucky I am to have you in my life. I didn't think it was possible to actually find my "other" half but I'm glad I did and that it's you. I can't help but look at you and smile even when you make me mad. I know we've been through a lot and sometimes it seems impossible to move forward but I thank you for never giving up on me and for getting this far. I love you!

1. I promise to always keep you fed with five-star dinners.

I never had to cook until I met you, and I think we are both thankful that I'm a goddess in the kitchen. I'm sorry though, that none of our meals have peppers, or onions, or lettuce inside them but I can't help how picky I am. Oh, and thanks for letting me know when my creations SUCK because we both know I've had a few of those.

2. I promise I won't watch an episode on Netflix without you.

I know its really really temping to keep watching regardless if you're home or not. I promise I won't watch ahead and if I break that promise...I'll totally act so surprised and not give any spoiler alerts.

3. I promise to always listen to you.

This one is probably the hardest promise to make because sometimes you go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on (see what I mean?). But I promise to always listen to you and give you my full attention.

4. I promise to always make fresh Iced Tea instead of leaving a tiny swallow left.

I don't think you can return this promise, but its okay since I wear the pants in the house. I'll always make fresh Iced Tea and Lemonade, but for the Milk... I make no promises on.

5. I promise to always be a smart grocery shopper and stock up on your favorites.

I'm in charge on the groceries, I utilize coupons and my weis card and mange to get everything we need and tons of awful food for you to binge out on. I'm basically a superhero, right? Yeah, I know save the applause and veg out on those Goldfish crackers.

6. I promise to always pick up your socks before the dog does.

Even though it would be vengeful to just let her eat them since you ALWAYS leave them on the floor.

7. I promise to motivate you on your worse days.

Coming home from a long day of work and having a stress overload happens more than it should. It's my job to motivate you to keep pushing because you will go so far one day. I am so proud of you.

8. I will do my best not to seal the covers.

Notice I didn't PROMISE this one? Mostly because I'm incredibly cold and am well deserving of all the blankets since you are the main heat supply and sometimes you don't let me cuddle!

9. I promise I will not leave your side.

Coming from a family of divorce, it is crucial to me to find "the one" and keep him forever. In you I've found that person and I am incredibly blessed. No matter how hard it gets I will always be here with arms wide open, ready to forgive and forget.

10. I promise to never stop trying.

When we struggle to like each other but love is a commitment more than a feeling. You deserve the best and I'll always make sure you have it. I will take care of you and our furbabys. You are my world and I stand by your side through every obstacle coming our way.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
