I just wanted you to know how much you mean to me. One the first day of college move in day, I walked across the hall to see who my neighbors were. You introduced yourself, and we ended up bonding over our love for rum. You were my first real friend out of high school.

You made the transition to college 10 times easier. Honestly, I couldn’t have done it without our random adventures and random night trips. Thanks for always offering your floor and climbing mattress as my bed for the night. You have been there for me since day one, and I can’t believe this year has come to a close.

So I will leave you with this — you are as strong and smart as you believe yourself to be. I cannot thank you enough for bringing me out of my shell my first year of college. I am going to miss our rad photos and late night food runs. You were my first friend I met on the first day. I am so lucky to have been your neighbor. I am going to miss you terribly.
